In the scene where rocks begin to fall from the cave ceiling, Ke Huy Quan’s Data was meant to should out an expletive, but since he promised his mother he wouldn’t use bad language, the actor had to find a workaround.

So, instead, Ke simply spelt out what he was trying to say: “Holy ..."
