Thunderbolts

Like ‘Captain America: Brave New World’, ‘Thunderbolts was due to arrive in cinemas at Christmas this year, but has been moved to 25 July 2025 following the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes.

The team of not-so-super-superheroes, including Red Hulk (Harrison Ford) the U.S. Agent (Wyatt Russell) and Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) are forced to be a force for good when the Avengers are not available.

With the film still quite early in development, Florence has admitted she was initially warned against joining the MCU.

She said: “When I first signed onto Marvel, lots of people from the indie film world were all telling me that I was never going to go back to small movies again, and it always kind of wound me up. Because I think there’s beauty in all types of those films. There’s beauty in the massive, epic storylines like 'Dune', like Marvel, like even 'Oppenheimer' that I did. They’re amazing, mega movies."
