Macaulay is the second youngest person to ever host 'SNL'
With the top spot of the most junior MC going to a seven-year-old Drew Barrymore in 1990 - who hosted the show four more times in 2001, 2004, 2007, and 2009 - the ‘Home Alone 2’ star was just 11 years old when he took the hot seat on the long-running NBC sketch show back in 1991 , amid the peak of his fame alongside its regular stars the late Chris Farley, Dana Carvey and Mike Myers.
When reflecting on his time on the programme - which also saw a cameo from his Emmy-nominated brother - Macaulay revealed his old man made him go on “without cue cards”.
He told Marc Maron in 2018: "My father was such a crazy person about it that I had to do the whole episode without cue cards. So also that meant that every other person in the cast couldn't use cue cards, either, in any scene that I was in."
