Macualay had Velvet Underground tribute band, The Pizza Underground

In 2013, the ‘My Girl’ star fronted a group in homage to The Velvet Underground and the Italian dish - while also playing kazoo and percussion - with Matt Colbourn joining on guitars, Phoebe Kreutz on glockenspiel, Deenah Vollmer playing the pizza box and singing, and Austin Kilham on tambourine.

While appearing on comedian Marc Maron’s ‘WTF’ podcast in 2018, Maculaley revealed they were no longer together.

He said: “I was a little tired of it”.
