Sir Anthony Hopkins

Sir Anthony Hopkins will be turning 86 today!

In 2022, he shared a video on Instagram wishing everyone a happy new year, as well as reflecting on being sober for nearly five decades.

He said: “I just want to wish you a happy new year, and also to say I'm celebrating 47 years today of sobriety.

“I am a recovering alcoholic, and to you out there, know that there are people struggling ... Be kind to yourself, be proud of your life.”
