Brooke Shields suffered a broken femur in 2021 which left her on crutches.

She shared a video of herself in a hospital gown whilst she practised walking, and captioned the post: "Broke my femur. Beginning to mend. No matter what your challenge is, make a positive choice, for yourself, to move forward. #BeginningisNow."
