The NBA star sustained a rare form of ankle sprain when he accidentally bashed into Solomon Hill during a Los Angeles Lakers game against the Atlanta Hawks. LeBron was quickly taken off the court and did not participate for the rest of the match.

Taking to X (formally Twitter) the 38-year-old basketball icon admitted he was furious to have missed most of the game.

He wrote: "Nothing angers and saddens me more than not being available to and for my teammates! I'm hurt inside and out right now. The road back from recovery begins now. Back soon like I never left."
