The ‘Stranger Things’ star was bereft after missing out another cult show ‘Game of Thrones’ but was soon snapped up to play Eleven in the Netflix '80s set sci-fi series, whcih has seen her career take off in a major way.

The 19-year-old actress said the audition was “one of her last goes” in 2020.

Millie said: "I was auditioning for commercials for anything, really. I then auditioned for 'Game of Thrones', and I got a no for that. And then, that's kind of when I was kind of like, oh, this is really difficult, and I guess I really wanted that role."
