Picking up the pen

Before she ever appeared on screen, Emerald wrote a script for the movie titled 'Chukka' in 2008, though it was unfortunately never actually made.

She also turned her hand to children's novels, and wrote the fantasy story 'Shiverton Hall' in 2013, which went on to garner a sequel 'The Creeper' a year later.
