Lorraine Bracco
Her performance as Dr. Jennifer Melfi, Tony's psychiatrist, earned her three Golden Globe nominations, as well as three Screen Actors Guild Awards and three Emmys.
With the immense success the series brought her, its no surprise to learn that Lorraine was convinced ‘The Sopranos’ is one of the finest television shows of all time.
Speaking with The Washington Post, the 69-year-old actress claimed she knew the show would be a smash hit after she watched the pilot episode.
She said: “I royally flipped out. I said, ‘This is the best thing I’ve seen in I don’t know how long. Better than any movie. Any series. Anything!’”
Since 'The Sopranos' ended the roles have continued to roll in for Lorraine.
She has appeared in ‘Rizzoli and Isles’, 'Blue Bloods' and 'Jerk', among other shows.
Lorrain also documented the renovation of a Sicilian home she bought for one Euro in the miniseries ‘My Big Italian Adventure’.
