Suzanne Shepherd

Suzanne played Mary DeAngelis, the mother of Carmela Soprano.

The actress had quite the illustrious career before the programme, appearing in Martin Scorsese’s Mafia masterpiece ‘Goodfellas’ in 1990 and starring alongside Julia Roberts in ‘Mystic Pizza’ in 1988.

After the show finished in 2007, she then made several appearances in ‘Law and Order’ and ‘The Bloods’.

She passed away on November 17, 2023 at the age of 89.
