spilled the tips that fellow Academy Award winner Emma Thompson, 64, gave her in 2014 as she fretted about her position in the film industry when she hit such a milestone so early on in her career.

Lupita, 40, said last year: "She told me that she quit acting for over eight years at some point, and everybody told her that she would never be able to come back to it, and she did. She encouraged me to do what I thought was best for my instrument."
