The former ‘Dawson’s Creek’ star was catapulted to global fame playing Pacey Whittaker in the teen drama which ran from 1998 to 2003.

Jackson, 45, felt guilty about how much money he was earning to act compared to people with more important jobs.

He told the Times newspaper earlier this year: "I would make more money doing four episodes of 'Dawson's Creek' than most of my friends' parents made in a year.

That was the center of my impostor syndrome, 'You're trying to set me up to be a role model to kids, and I definitely am not, and you're paying me all this money that I don't deserve.'"
