Morrissey

The former frontman of The Smiths was born in Greater Manchester to Irish Catholic parents.

Morrissey, 64, now lives in America and one of the reasons he left the UK was his frustration with The British establishment.

He said: "The British establishment is a stifling force. They fear my honesty, but I won't be silenced."
