The 'Smile' hitmaker was born and raised in London but Brexit - the vote of UK citizens to leave the European Union - left her embarrassed to be British.

She said: "Brexit has exposed deep divisions within our society, and it's crucial that we fight for a more inclusive and equal Britain."
