Ruth Westheimer

Sex therapist Dr. Ruth, 95, joined the Haganah in Mandatory Palestine after the end of World War II in 1945.

Ruth was trained as a sniper.

Speaking to The New Yorker about her service, Ruth - who is also a Holocaust survivor - said: "I have no idea what the experience would be, if I had to show it. But I was a very good sniper."
