Taylor Swift had to pause her ‘Eras Tour’ concert in Liverpool on Thursday night (13.06.24) due to a “sniffly nose”.

The pop superstar brought her incredible show to Anfield Stadium, braving another chilly night in the North of England on the UK leg of her tour.

Before singing a medley of ‘Cornelia Street’ and ‘Maroon’ during the Surprise section of her set, Taylor had to reach for a tissue and wipe her nose.

As she sat at her piano, Taylor told fans “totally fine, I can do it with a sniffly nose, it's fine,” a nod to the lyrics of her song ‘I Can Do It With A Broken Heart’ from her latest album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’.

The Anfield gig was a landmark date on ‘The Eras Tour’ as it was the 100th show of the world tour.

The ‘Fortnight’ singer also announced to the 62,000-plus fans in Liverpool FC’s ground that they had set a new attendance record at the stadium.

She said: “So, I just want to say, those things mean the world to us getting to play this show for people who would go so far above and beyond for us and welcome us to Liverpool in such a fashion. We love you so much and, you know, while I was walking to the stage, they pulled me aside and told me another thing you did for us tonight.

"And that thing is that you, you broke the all-time attendance record for this stadium tonight. Don't you just love knowing there's never been as many people in this room as there are right now? I, personally, love that feeling."
