North West sings about being 'used' after axing debut tour

North West, the daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has opened up about being “used” in her new single, which comes after she axed her tour at the last minute.
The 13-year-old dropped the music video for her new song Aishite - which translates as “love me” in Japanese - on Thursday (06.08.26), with the tune taken from her recent EP N0rth4evr.
In the first verse of the tune, North sings: “Ayy, ain't nobody finna save me / Ayy, and it's drivin' me crazy (Crazy) / Why can't I escape? 'Cause they chase me (They chase me) / Just love me, everyone betrays me.”
She then continues: “I'm seein' blood daily (Daily)/ What? And it's drivin' me crazy (Crazy)/ Yeah, can't escape 'cause they chase me.’”
North opens up about betrayal in the next verse, as she sings: “She pretend, they ain't usin' me again (What?) / Can't be no one's friend, I can't let nobody in' before adding, 'Can't depend on anyone, the sufferin' won't end.”
The video for the song, directed by Ty Akimoto, shows North haunting some school halls and an arcade, and comes after she cancelled her first tour.
North had been due to head out on the road for a co-headline series with her Aishite collaborator Molly Santana on 5 August, but “sadly" revealed the concerts are no longer going ahead, though neither she nor Molly have offered an explanation as to why.
North wrote on her Instagram Story: "i was really excited to go on tour w molly santana sadly it isn't happening anymore but i have something special for u guys see ya soon (sic)"
Molly offered a "sincere apology" to fans who were looking forward to the tour - which was due to start in Dallas and end in Los Angeles on 27 August - and promised to "make this one up" to them.
She wrote on her Instagram Story: "to everyone who bought tickets to the tour i sincerely apologize.
“i know a lot of you have taken time out of your busy schedules and spent your hard earned money planning to be there "nothing makes me more happy than the opportunity to share amazing memories with you all and i hope to see you soon
"you are all so greatly appreciated and please know that i never take your time or support lightly
"i love yall so much and i promise i will make this one up to you (sic)"
