Mckenna Grace reveals why she won't do 'nudity and hypersexual things' on screen
Mckenna Grace has revealed her firm line for any future acting roles, and she doesn't know if her limits will "ever change".
Mckenna Grace refuses to do "nudity or very hypersexual things" on screen.
The 20-year-old actress, who has appeared in the likes of Regretting You, Scream 7 and upcoming Hunger Games prequel Sunrise on the Reaping, has opened up about her limits when it comes to choosing an acting role.
She told Cosmopolitan magazine: "At this point, I definitely don’t do nudity or very hypersexual things.
"I respect anybody who can, but it’s terrifying to me. I don’t know if that’ll ever change.
"It’s not like I only do wholesome things — my character literally gets gutted by Ghostface in Scream — but my dream is to try and be a Disney princess someday."
Mckenna started out as a child star on Disney XD's Crash and Bernstein, while she later appeared on the likes of The Vampire Diaries, The Haunting of Hill House, Young Sheldon and more.
Speaking generally about the transition into being an adult on set, she explained: "As a kid on set, you’re expected to act like an adult until you’re on camera.
"Then you’re a kid until everybody is mad at you because you’re acting like a kid. Now it’s cool to be an adult and be able to give my opinion and have a bit more ownership over characters.
"I’ve really enjoyed sitting down with producers and pitching all my ideas."
Meanwhile, Mckenna - who is in a relationship with Regretting You co-star Mason Thames - admitted away from her career she is "feeling very lovey-dovey".
She and Mason made their relationship public in February this year after taking a romantic trip to Paris, which followed months of speculation about their status.
She said: "I have somebody I can be a complete nerd with. I got my best friend, and so I don’t see the point in not loving loudly."
Mckenna admitted some moments "are just for you and your person", but it's important to celebrate "who you’re in love with".
She added: "A lot of people’s hesitation around this stems from the idea that if you post about someone a bunch and then you break up, that’s embarrassing.
"But why would I even think about that? I’m just going to focus on the present."
