Jade Thirlwall splits from boyfriend of six years - report
Jade Thirlwall and Jordan Stephens, who started dating in 2020, are said to have called time on their relationship earlier this year - although are apparently still friends.
Jade Thirlwall has reportedly split from boyfriend Jordan Stephens after six years together.
The former Little Mix star and her Rizzle Kicks beau, who started dating in 2020, are said to have called time on their relationship earlier this year - although are apparently still friends.
A source told The Sun: “Jade and Jordan had a very serious and loving relationship but recently they have had some frank discussions about their future and have decided to separate.
“It’s not been an easy time but they’ve both been throwing themselves into work.
“Their friends adore them as a couple and are really hoping they get back together but it’s still very raw at the moment.”
Following the report about their split being made public, both Jordan and Jade have deleted all traces of each other from their own Instagram pages, although Jordan was the first to do so before Jade appeared to follow suit.
Representatives for the pair have yet to respond to request for comment.
However, the rumors come after a notable silence from both Jade and Jordan on what was meant to be their sixth anniversary together last month (Jun26) - despite them both publicly commenting on previous anniversaries.
Jade went solo to Little Mix pal Perrie Edwards’ wedding in Portugal last month, while her last public appearance with Jordan was at the Brit Awards back in February.
The break-up report also comes after Jade hinted at a tumultuous time in her personal life during an interview with The Fader, when she was asked about how she was getting on working on her second solo album.
She said: “I’m just writing stuff. Whatever I’m going through at the minute, like privately, I’m sort of putting pen to paper.
“I think this is the exciting phase or the experimental phase, where you don’t know what it’s going to be yet.”
Jade and Jordan first started dating during the Covid-19 pandemic, after she messaged him on social media.
She said previously: “It was through a friend. I slid in the DMs. I’d been doing this for quite a while. I kept getting pied left, right and centre.”
Romance then blossomed between the pair after they took several socially-distanced walks together and had numerous video calls.
Jade further explained: “Jordan and I did a few Zoom dates in lockdown. We made a joke and said it was business and put suits and ties on and asked each other questions. I did the full shebang, a full suit.
“Then we had a socially distanced date in Greenwich Park, apart from each other just chatting.”
