Aaron Rodgers felt he was into "crazy town" when dating his famous ex-girlfriends.

The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback had high-profile relationships with actresses Olivia Munn and Shailene Woodley - who he got engaged to in 2021 before splitting the following year - and racing driver Danica Patrick before settling down with now-wife Brittani and he insisted he never wanted to "live a public eye" as he accused his former partners of drawing attention to their romances by calling photographers and sharing details on social media.

Speaking on The Pat McAfee show, he said: "I got myself into crazy town, and I was with individuals who called the paparazzi, who leaked or talked about where I was living, who coerced me to make the proverbial Instagram, social media posts.

"I never really wanted to live a public life. If you look at the saga with my family, for years it was one-sided.

"They were making shots in the media saying bulls***. I never said anything until it got to the point that, all right, enough is enough… I’m not a social media guy anymore.”

Aaron has kept his relationship with Brittani private but revealed they first met in 2017 but didn't get together because she "moved across the pond".

He revealed last June that he had been married for "a couple months", after making their relationship public in December 2024.

But the NFL player thinks the public interest in their relationship was “f****** bizarre” and accused the paparazzi of “stalking” him and “flying drones over [his] house" because there was a “bounty on getting a picture of my wife, which I think is very bizarre as well”.

He added: "I understand the attention that comes with somebody who’s accomplished what I’ve accomplished.

“And so, in no way am I making this a ‘woe is me.’ But when it comes to your personal safety - and now it’s not just me, it’s me and her - it’s really bizarre.”

Aaron, 41, also hinted at starting a family with Brittani as he spoke about her privacy.

He said: "She didn’t sign up for this b******* you know?

"She signed up because she loves me and she supports me, and she wants to spend the rest of our lives together and start a family together.

"She didn’t sign up to be out front, you know, a social media WAG. She doesn’t want any of that b******* and I don’t either.

“And I was with that, which is even more telling. Like, do you understand? I was with it. I lived that life. I didn’t like it.”
