Paris Hilton loved working with Dakota and Elle Fanning on memoir series
Paris Hilton has promised that the TV adaptation of her book Paris: The Memoir, which she is working on with Dakota and Ellle Fanning, will be "fantastic".
Paris Hilton has loved working with Dakota and Elle Fanning as her memoir is adapted for TV.
The 44-year-old socialite is collaborating with the siblings to turn her 2023 book Paris: The Memoir into a TV series and has promised fans that it will be "fantastic" viewing.
In an interview with People, Paris said: "I love Elle and Dakota – they're so talented, kind, beautiful and lovely – so it's been a dream to be working with them and creating this series together.
"The show is going to be fantastic. It's so entertaining, and it's just so surreal to me that I now have a whole TV series based on my life story. That's so iconic."
A24 acquired the rights to Hilton's memoir for producers Dakota and Elle in 2023 and Paris has relished working with the company.
The Stars Are Blind singer said: "It's just been a dream working with everyone, and A24, they're the best in the business, so I love working with them as well.
"Everything has just been very, very exciting."
Paris hinted earlier this year that an "iconic" actress would be portraying her in the series.
She told Extra: "I am so excited to be producing this with Elle and Dakota. They are so sweet. I love them so much. They are so, just, smart, beautiful, kind, lovely, so talented. We're doing it with A24 as well, just The White Lotus and Euphoria and all the most amazing shows, so it's very exciting.
"I know [who is playing me] but it's a surprise. I can't tell.
"She's blonde. She’s iconic, beautiful, she’s an incredible actress, and people are going to be blown away when they see this."
The book explored Paris's rise to fame during the early 2000s, as well as her personal struggles, and she claimed that the book helped to shift public perceptions of her.
The Simple Life star said: "People just understand me more now because of the book."
Paris also claimed that she invented a Barbie-like character during her teenage years in order to "protect" herself.
She explained: "I was in so much pain that I created this Barbie doll fantasy life.
"It was a character I put on as a mask to protect myself."
