Paris Hilton feels "so happy and proud" of her fashion influence.

The 45-year-old heiress - who is married to entrepreneur Carter Reum - feels proud of her legacy in 2000s fashion and is thrilled to see aspects of the style come back.

Speaking about the return of 2000s fashion trends, Paris told People: "It makes me so happy and proud.

"It makes me so proud, because I am the one who really created Y2K fashion, so it’s just so much fun to see so many people wearing looks that I’ve worn, and just seeing on all the biggest designers' mood boards, pictures of me."

Paris also feels proud to have been part of the social media revolution.

The blonde beauty said: "It’s definitely changed the game in so many ways.

"I love how we all have our own platform, so we’re able to show our truth instead of having the media control everything; people can really take agency to really create a brand as well.

"It’s so exciting that anyone with a phone going on a platform could literally create their own empire, and I was the first to do it, so to see so many people inspired by that and following in my footsteps makes me extremely proud to be the OG."
