Finneas O'Connell marries Claudia Sulewski

Finneas O'Connell and Claudia Sulewski are married.

The 29-year-old musician and 30-year-old YouTube star tied the knot in a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Montecito, California, on Saturday (29.08.26) with his 24-year-old sister, singer Billie Eilish, officiating in front of family and friends.

Celebrity guests included couples Justin Bieber, 32, and Hailey Bieber, 29, and Kristen Bell, 46, and Dax Shepard, 51, and 25-year-old influencer Emma Chamberlain.

Per Vogue, Claudia stunned in a custom-made ivory silk faille Oscar de la Renta ballgown, featuring a sheer veil and a long train, while Finneas looked dapper in a black tuxedo.

It was one of four looks from the fashion house that she wore throughout the wedding weekend.

It included a bias-cut liquid crepe-back satin gown for the rehearsal dinner, a structured cady gown with a sculptural peplum made from upcycled feathers with crystal-beaded accents for the first dance and reception, and a pink boat-neck top with a hand-draped dove-grey silk faille bubble skirt for the after-party.

Speaking of the main ceremony dress, Claudia told Vogue: "We were putting it on, and I was saying, there’s something about this dress that just demands a moment of silence."

The CYKLAR Skincare founder added she was inspired to choose the style after delving into the Oscar de la Renta archives, where she found herself drawn to the more dramatic "princess-like" silhouettes from past collections.

Her 67-year-old mother-in-law, actress Maggie Baird, FaceTimed Billie so she could get a first look at the gorgeous wedding dress.

The Birds of a Feather hitmaker said: "My God, I can’t believe it. You look like an angel. Sorry to be interrupting. Love you so much!"

Finneas and Claudia had two bows cut from the same fabric as her ceremony gown for their rescue dogs, Peaches and Moose.

She said: "They’re going to walk down as flower dogs."

In June, Finneas shared he used his seventh anniversary as a "Trojan horse" to propose to Claudia Sulewski.

Speaking on NBC's Today with Jena and Sheinelle, the star - who popped the question with a cushion-cut diamond ring last September after seven years of dating - said: "I think she thought we were going to go do a little staycation at a beach.

"I was relying on her to be distracted by getting ready in the morning, and maybe sending a work email or something.

"And I drove her to the airport. She was like, 'Why are we at the airport?' We got on a helicopter, and I was like, 'We're taking a helicopter to a private campsite in the mountains,' and I brought a private chef with us. And so he cooked food for us, and then he got back on the helicopter and left.

"We were marooned on the mountainside, and then we just had this really beautiful day out in nature. And then, I did ask [her to marry me]."

Finneas was very nervous ahead of proposing, particularly when it came to hiding the ring so Claudia could not find it until the right moment.

He recalled: "The ring was in a sock wrapped around another sock in my suitcase. And then there was one point where it was about to happen, and I was, like, 'Hang on. One second.' It was just lies all day.

"And I ran around, and I heard the ring, like, rattling in the box in my pocket. And so I went and hid behind a bush and untied the thing and opened it and tucked it back in its little slot, and then was, like, walking in a sort of ballet pose."

Claudia praised Finneas - whom she met on a dating app in 2018 - earlier this year for wanting to be involved in their wedding planning.

She said in a video shared to YouTube: "Finneas has had more input than I think he thought he would have, which is exciting for me because I don't want to feel like I'm planning all this by myself.

"I've been really surprised by how many opinions my fiancé has had, and I love it because I want him to feel ownership of this special day for us."
