Delta Goodrem's wedding of 'timeless romance'
Delta Goodrem and Matthew Copley have shared the first details of their recent wedding in Malta.

Delta Goodrem's wedding was "classic and traditional".
The Born to Try singer married musician Matthew Copley, 38, in Malta last month and the theme of their big day was "timeless romance" and "intimate extravagance", which she felt perfectly captured their own "love story".
Delta told Australia's Vogue magazine of the theme: "Timeless romance. Intimate extravagance. We had a classic and traditional aesthetic of white florals with white and gold decor.
"There was a perfect mix of tradition, sophistication, honoring the history of both Malta and the Australian spirit that brought our love story in to marriage itself. We got married in the historic St Paul’s Cathedral in Mdina in Malta and held our reception in a stunning baroque palace, Palazzo Parisio, which has so much beauty in its grounds with its grandeur. "
Delta wore three wedding dresses over the course of her celebrations, and her "fairytale" ceremony gown featured hand-beaded lines of crystals and pearls and weighed a staggering 14.5 kilograms.
She said of the gown: ‘I always knew what I wanted my wedding dress to be and I knew the perfect designer for it. Paolo Sebastian and I connected the second I got engaged and we started working together immediately.
"We came up with a stunning gown that was structured, yet still delicate and feminine. It was a statement piece but a fairytale dress.
"The sweeping train and the tulle cathedral veil perfectly suited the style of the wedding and the surroundings.
"My dress had personalised words and embroidery, like hand drawn cherubs that were stitched on, mirroring those from the room.’
The 40-year-old singer then opted for dresses she'd be able to comfortably dance in.
She said: “I also knew I wanted to celebrate and dance the night away with my loved ones, so I opted for two dress changes for my reception, both designed by the formidable Con Ilio.
“He custom made two incredible pieces: one modern, drop-waist gown, hand-beaded with crystal and pearls, and one high neck, silk dress for the afterparty and endless dancing.”
Despite being hands-on with wedding planning, Delta was still surprised by some musical touches.
She said: “There were actually many magical surprises on the day. Our musical kindreds, Vince Pizzinga and Conrad Sewell, surprised us with a choir performance at the ceremony.
"My amazing band surprised us by playing a song on the dance floor, and my best friends’ kids (superstars in the making) sang and played the piano of one of my songs, which had everyone in happy tears!”
