Stephen Baldwin is enjoying not having to "stress" as a grandparent.
The 58-year-old actor is grandfather to Iris, five, through his eldest daughter Alaia, 31, and became a grandparent for a second time when his youngest Hailey, 28, and her husband Justin Bieber welcomed Jack Blues in August but is finding the "most fun" in not getting too involved.
He told 'Entertainment Tonight': "My daughters are both married and they both have kids and apparently they're doing kind of well.
"There's not too much when your kids get old enough and they've gotten married and you've gotta vibe cool with them, do you know what I mean? There's only so much where you can be like as a grandparent 'Hey, I think you should change your philosophy over here...' [I don't do that] too much.
"The most fun for me is just being able to kick back, respect what everyone is doing and not stress about it. My first daughter Alaia and my granddaughter Iris, who's almost five now, I'm seeing them a lot on the Strip. But sometimes you just can't help it!"
The 'Special Forces' contestant - who has been married to Kennya Baldwin since 1990 - is particularly looking forward to how his grandson turns out given that he is the product of a pop star and a model/businesswoman.
He added: "Especially with Jack Blues, considering who the mom and the dad are, this kid is gonna be cute and creative so I am looking forward to it."
At the time of Jack's birth Stephen joined Justin’s mom Pattie Mallette in applauding the couple on the birth after she said on X: “CONGRATULATIONS @justinbieber and Hailey. I LOVE YOU FOREVER BABY JACK!!”
Minutes later, Stephen added: “Amen, Congratulations to you and may God continue to bless our family.”
