Lisa Snowdon is feeling "stronger mentally and physically" following an emotional wellness retreat in Bali.

This Morning's fashion expert recently jetted out to the Indonesian island and province where she did Pilates and Bikram yoga.

Taking to Instagram on Friday (11.09.26), Lisa shared a series of pictures from the women-only trip, as well as sizzling shots of herself soaking up the sunshine in different bikinis, with the caption: "Bali, in Balance.

"Because wellness, for me, has never been about perfection. It’s about connection.

"The women you meet, the conversations that stay with you, moving your body, slowing your mind, little soul searching, maybe a good old cry and sometimes having a cold beer barefoot on the beach.

"A bit of ritual, a bit of real life. That balance feels really good to me.

"So grateful to @fiona.yoga for bringing us together and creating such a gorgeous community - for this stunning location here in Bali and for her experience and expertise in Pilates and Bikram yoga.

"I am feeling stronger mentally and physically and it’s not over yet! (sic)"

Lisa's wellness retreat comes three months after she recalled "spiralling out of control" amid the menopause.

In a message to other women going through the menopause, the Strictly Come Dancing 2008 finalist told Closer magazine: "To all those ladies who are in the depths of misery. I promise it does get better, but you do have to take a bit of ownership - I made so many mistakes...

"I got myself spiralling out of control, which was a horrible place to be ... Starting HRT, getting my energy back and starting an exercise routine helped change things."

Lisa also admitted that her health struggles knocked her confidence.

The TV presenter, who lost two stone after committing herself to a strict diet and exercise, said: "I had days so dark that I thought, 'If this is what my life looks like, then I can't do it', I felt so lonely and confused. I didn't recognise myself.

"The perimenopause and menopause have such an impact on your confidence, and I lost myself for a little while."

In July, Lisa said she feels she has started a "new chapter of her life" since turning 54.

The Celebrity MasterChef 2022 winner explained to Prima magazine: "I’m 54 now and see this time in my life as a new chapter. It’s important to reframe ageing in a more positive way.

"It takes time for that readjustment to happen, but now I’m in this powerful place where it’s about, 'What do I want? What do I need?'

"I don’t have children, so it’s easier for me than mums juggling teenage children, but it’s a powerful time for us to reconnect with ourselves and make big life changes. It’s the second spring."
