Sam Fender has hit out at the “inflated” ticket prices for his upcoming tour, insisting they cost a “lot more” than he had anticipated or wanted.

The 32-year-old singer announced earlier this week that he will be hitting the road for his Proper Massive Stadium Tour in the summer of 2027, taking to the stage in the venues in London, Dublin and Manchester among others.

Tickets for the shows have yet to go on sale, but speculation has already begun about how much they will cost, with one person taking to social media to say the tickets are expected to go on sale for £130.75 for “front standing” tickets, while “standing” tickets will apparently cost £98.

Seated tickets will retail for between £64.75 and £130.75, the person said, with Sam quick to respond to the report in the comments.

He began by saying the prices are “getting changed”, as he added: “It got inflated well more than I'd had in mind, it should only be inflated in relation to the cost of putting the show on.

“The standing will not be split as well, I had no idea about it. I have no idea how this was normalised in gigs. It's b******* and it won't be happening on this tour.”
