Celebrity Hunted's Ollie and Gareth Locke had 'nightmares' of being on the run after filming ended

Celebrity Hunted's Ollie and Gareth Locke battled nightmares about still being on the run a month after filming wrapped.
The couple were the first contestants to be captured by an elite team of hunters while taking part in the challenge in aid of Stand Up To Cancer in 2022, and the "frightening" experience played on Ollie, 39, and 37-year-old Gareth's minds long after.
Ollie exclusively told BANG Showbiz on behalf of Sky Vegas: "We had nightmares for about a month afterwards that we were still on the run. We both had nightmares back in real life.
"It's so scary, it's honestly like being chased - because you are being chased, and you have no idea what intelligence they've got. It's horrific.
"I've done a few reality shows, and that one is different because at 8pm they stop, and so do you. You're not allowed to move, and they're not allowed to move either, until 8am.
"Then you're getting ready, getting showered, and the hunt is back on, and it's honestly not very nice.
"Whereas in real life, if you were an actual murderer or something, you'd be on the run 24 hours a day.
"Being a fugitive is a scary business."
He added: "But more than anything, it taught me - don't do anything wrong. Probably a good idea. Don't be a real fugitive."
The Made in Chelsea stars initially made their getaway in a bright yellow three-wheeled vehicle before Ollie called his godmother to get them to a safe place.
However, Hunted HQ tracked him and Gareth down after they got information out of a taxi driver and a member of the public about the pair's whereabouts.
Ollie and Gareth, who ate in one of 79-year-old chef Rick Stein's restaurants while on the run, were caught after the hunters jumped out of a car in front of the TV personalities and chased them down.
They were the first to be eliminated from Celebrity Hunted.
However, Ollie and Gareth did not care about coming last as they focused more on being memorable.
Ollie said: "When you work in entertainment and television, the one thing I learned very early is: never be the winner, always be the one that someone remembers. No one cares about the winner."
A new batch of celebrities are taking on the 14-day challenge of trying not to be caught by the hunters.
They are Strictly Come Dancing pros Amy Dowden, 36, and Carlos Gu, 33, comedian-and-actor Brian Conley, 65, and his daughter, actress Lucy Conley, 24, Love Island alums Chris Taylor, 36, and 27-year-old Toby Aromolaran.
Joining them are TV presenters JJ Chalmers, 39, and Sophie Morgan, 41, ex-A Place in the Sun host Scarlette Douglas, 39, and her brother, fellow property expert Stuart Douglas, 48, and comediennes Jen Brister, 51, and 44-year-old Laura Smyth.
Ollie thinks Scarlette and Stuart "might do all right", but for him, it is Brian and Lucy who have the edge.
He explained: "I've known Brian Conley for years through Gok Wan, so we’ve had many dinners together.
"Brian seems to be doing the entertainment side of things, which I enjoy when he comes on - he's not taking it too seriously, but there's still that initial threat, and he's an entertainer, which I think is the right way to play the game."
Ollie added: "I just think they may do quite well, because he's ballsy enough and he knows enough people. He's been around for a long time, and he understands entertainment and the TV landscape. He knows how to pull in the right people.
"Brian's been around for so long, and because he's a Cockney lad, he'll know the right people."
