Alan Carr pitches huge Celebrity Traitors crossover with his own game show
The Celebrity Traitors winner Alan Carr has admitted he'd love to get his castmates on board for a crossover with his own hit BBC show.
Alan Carr would love a Picture Slam special crossover with The Celebrity Traitors.
The 50-year-old comedian, who won the first celebrity spinoff of The Traitors last year, is bringing back his own BBC game show for a fourth series from July 18, and there will be some famous faces taking part for the first time.
He teased: "We should do a Picture Slam Traitors special, the castle for the Traitors is in Scotland. I'm sure they can all jump on a minibus.
"We can go to the castle, have a nice reunion and a picnic, and then we'd come all the way to Glasgow to film a bit of Picture Slam, it would be the perfect day."
Of his castmates in the castle, Alan thinks Sir Stephen Fry would be a perfect fit for Picture Slam.
He explained: "Stephen Fry, he’s great. He would win outright. He's very clever, but he wasn't clever enough to know I was a Traitor.
"I'd love all the Traitors cast on because we have such a good time."
Away from The Traitors, the Chatty Man star does have another celebrity in mind as his dream contestant.
He added: "Keith Lemon, he'll be funny and he is mad. Leigh Francis, he goes by now. His mind is insane."
As described by the BBC, Picture Slam is a "fun and frantic quiz show where every question is a picture and every picture is worth cash".
They continued: "They could be anything from famous faces, places, products or logos, teams must be picture perfect in the final to secure a Super Slam and win £10,000!"
This time round, there will be two celebrity guest specials, plus a celebrity Christmas special.
Alan said: "Super excited about the celebrity episodes. It'll be interesting to see how quick celebrities are because the rounds are fast and furious.
"I get out of breath reading the questions and it's nice to see them under pressure and people like to see some of their favourite celebrities panicking, sweating, getting it right."
Alan loves seeing the moments people "panic" and blurt out the first thing that comes to their head.
He quipped: "For me, the funny bits are when people panic and they say the wrong, stupidest answers.
"And celebrities, are loose lipped as it is, so we're ready to get some real stupid answers in the nicest possible way.
"We’ve got singers, we've got actors, we’ve got presenters. Hopefully they won't look too stupid, and they'll get at least one Picture Slam."
Alan Carr's Picture Slam returns to BBC One and iPlayer on July 18.
