Alan Carr was measured "for a body bag" before filming The F*** It List.

The 49-year-old comedy star appears on The F*** It List, a new series on Prime Video, and Alan has now revealed the precautions that were taken before the cameras started rolling.

The Chatty Man star - who appears on the show alongside fellow comics Tom Allen, Joanne McNally and Jack Dee - explained on the Life’s A Beach podcast: "They told me it would be going on the ‘Orient Express’… ‘swimming with dolphins’.

"They measured me up for a body bag and a parachute. I’m like, ‘No! No, I’m 50. Life’s dangerous enough. Going to the toilet could kill me.'"

The overarching idea behind the new series is to determine which experiences are "try before you die" and which should go on "the f*** it list".

However, Alan insists he didn't have any input into the challenges he faced.

The comedian shared: "With TV, you get producers who ask: ‘Alan, right, I just want you to jump now into the waterfall. Can you, like, wrestle that shark?’ And you’re like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

"I don’t know whether it’s because I’m turning 50 or something."

Despite this, Alan admitted that he refused to bungee jump in New Zealand.

He said: "‘You bungee jump off there’ – I’m there unpacking my case, I can see people screaming, whizzing, past the window. I’m like, ‘How s*** is this hotel?'

"That’s one of the things I turned down on this show. I didn’t turn it down. I went up there. I was all Billy Big B******. But it’s the tipping forward. I couldn’t do it."

Meanwhile, Alan previously revealed that his dog caused chaos on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

The TV presenter took Rita along to the studio when he was filming for the hit BBC show, but she didn't like being left alone backstage and tore up his dressing room while attempting to escape.

During an episode of his Life’s A Beach podcast, Alan explained: "At RuPaul’s Drag Race, I took Rita along and I went down to the show and she scratched through the door.

"They said they were gonna charge me for the door because she had chewed up all the bottom. Someone fixed it for me, but she was anxious - she wanted to see her daddy."
