Loose Women's Linda Robson 'more confident' since serious health ordeal
Loose Women panellist Linda Robson thought she was "going to die" after surgery.
Linda Robson feels more confident after her serious health ordeal.
The Loose Women panellist thought she was "going to die" after she woke up in intensive care following an operation to have most of her pancreas removed as "two tumours" were "in a difficult position".
Linda, 68, credited her children, daughters Lauren, 42, and Bobbie, 29, and son Louis, 33, for getting her through the tough period in her life, which has made the star, more so than ever, to "make the most of life".
She told the new issue of Woman magazine: "I had to take a back seat for a little while to get better, and now I am. I'm fine now. I'm on the mend.
"My kids have been amazing, they really have. My son took me away for a week's holiday to Ibiza, which was nice.
"I want to make the most of life. I like being out and about now that my big worries are over.
"I feel a lot more confident now."
Linda is preparing for a TV return and could reunite with her Birds of a Feather co-star Lesley Joseph, 80, on a new project, previously reported to be a comedy show.
Linda teased: "Touch wood, we have come to the end of my illness.
"Me and Lesley are planning to work together on something in the next few months. I'm seeing her soon, and we'll be discussing some TV offers we've been sent."
However, Linda and Lesley's Birds of a Feather co-star Pauline Quirke, 66, will not be involved in their project, as her husband Steve Sheen announced her retirement from acting after a dementia diagnosis.
Pauline stepped away from "all commercial and professional duties" after being diagnosed with the degenerative condition, which causes a decline in thinking, memory, and reasoning skills, in 2021.
Giving a rare update on her lifelong pal, Linda said: "I'm going to see Pauline soon too, but at the moment, she's been taken on a trip away.
"She's doing really well."
In September 2025, Linda revealed that she and Lesley have had "some discussions" about doing a comedy show together.
She told the magazine: "Hopefully Lesley and I will do something together.
"I think we'd like to do another comedy, which would be really fun. We've had some discussions, so watch this space."
