The Celebrity Traitors winner Sebastian Croft 'fainted' on BBC show
Sebastian Croft "fainted" on The Celebrity Traitors after co-star Ross Kemp pushed him too hard during a grave-digging challenge.
The Celebrity Traitors winner Sebastian "Bash" Croft fainted on the BBC game show.
The 24-year-old actor was rushed to medics after collapsing in an unaired scene, and suggested fellow Faithful, 62-year-old EastEnders legend Ross Kemp, had pushed him to his limits in a grave-digging challenge.
On the latest episode of Sebastian's The Sunday Scaries with Bash Croft podcast, he revealed: "Every time I was, like, exhausted it was like, 'Right, get into this!'
"Ross was locked in, being a superstar and really carrying the mission.
"Anyway got to the end and felt really lightheaded and fainted.
"Then I was sat there, and there was the medic, giving me water, and I was eating chocolate to get my blood sugar up
"And I look up, and there's like Jerry [Hall] and Richard [E Grant] looking at me like, you're pathetic. This is so embarrassing."
The Heartstopper alum noted that the producers did him a "favour" by not airing the moment he fainted because it was a "medical thing".
That was not the only scene cut from this year's series of The Celebrity Traitors.
Comedian James Acaster, 41, revealed model Jerry, 70, confronted him over suspicions he was a Traitor earlier in the game, but their face-to-face moment never aired.
Appearing on The Celebrity Traitors series one winner Alan Carr's Life's a Beach podcast, he shared: "They cut out my one, Jerry Hall went right up to me, face-to-face, and accused me of being a Traitor and she said, 'I think it's James!'
"I looked her in the eye and said, 'I think it might be me as well, Jerry!' And she went, 'You're very sneaky', and I said, 'I am sneaky, Jerry. It could be me!'
"And she went, 'Hm...' and went away. I went, 'Surely that's going in the edit'. No, nowhere to be seen!"
James was recruited as a Traitor by actor Richard, 69, and 32-year-old Love Island host Maya Jama.
His fellow players and viewers were left stunned when the star came clean about being a Traitor, a role he struggled with, during the 29 October semi-final, after actor Michael Sheen, 57, cornered him in a tense Round Table interrogation, which led to James' banishment from the castle.
Previous reports suggested filming was halted shortly before the vote as James was so upset.
A source told The Sun: "What you don’t see is the moment when James got upset as he crumbled when he could see he was about to be caught.
"Both the producers and the other celebrities could see how he was struggling with the pressure of keeping his true identity secret and he reached some kind of breaking point when he was confronted.
"That saw the team feel compelled to intervene, and filming was brought to a halt as they assessed the situation. They spoke to both James and the rest of the stars and didn’t allow filming to resume until they were sure everyone was in a fit state.
"But very little was caught on camera, and what little that was recorded did not feature in the final edit."
James was banished, leaving remaining Traitors Maya and YouTube star King Kenny, 29, to battle their way to the final, which aired on 30 October.
But they were both subsequently banished, clearing the way for Faithfuls Sebastian and comedian Romesh Ranganathan, 48, to win the £83,000 prize pot.
The pair will split the winnings between their respective charities.
Romesh is donating his share to the Refugee Council, while Sebastian is donating his to Choose Love.
