Jeremy Clarkson and Hawkstone Farmer's Choir party until 4.30am after Britain's Got Talent final
Jeremy Clarkson joined Amanda Holden and Britain's Got Talent winners the Hawkstone Farmers' Choir for a boozy night celebrating their triumph.
Jeremy Clarkson celebrated with the Hawkstone Farmers' Choir until 4.30am after their Britain's Got Talent victory.
The group, who were formed with the help of Jeremy Clarkson and are sponsored by his Hawkstone Brewery firm, won the live final on Saturday (30.05.26) to secure a place in the Royal Variety Show, as well as the £250,000 prize pot.
Jeremy, who "gate crashed the stage after the result", has revealed he ended up on a night out with the choir.
He's quoted by The Sun newspaper as saying: “The atmosphere was incredible and then we learned Arsenal had lost [the Champions League final]which made it even better.
"We all went to the pub afterwards and this morning, my head hurts. Despite this, I’m so happy for them.”
Choir member Katryna Shell admitted that "the support has been overwhelming", while runners up Celestial joined them on the night out with Jeremy and BGT judge Amanda Holden.
She added: "We stayed up until 4.30am partying with Celestial, Jeremy and Amanda Holden. It’s not often you make history, so why not?"
Singer Ben Brooke admitted "everyone was in floods of tears", including Clarkson's Farm host Jeremy.
He revealed: "I was jumping around with Jeremy, he was crying. I even picked him up!
“At the party the Hawkstoner beer was flowing before we went on to cocktails and gin. Everyone was singing. It was an amazing atmosphere.”
After their performance on the ITV talent show final, Amanda said: "What an incredible song. An amazing performance."
KSI was also full of praise for the group.
The YouTuber-turned-rapper - who previously replaced Bruno Tonioli as a full-time judge on the TV show - added: "It’s such a risk, especially in the final to do an original song ... but put that on Spotify."
Alesha Dixon suggested that the group were strong contenders to win the series.
The 47-year-old music star - who shot to fame as a member of Mis-Teeq, the chart-topping girl group - said: "We can feel the warmth and how much it means to you. You sounded fantastic. You’re in with a real shot tonight."
Simon Cowell backed the group's decision to perform an original song for the final, too.
The 66-year-old music mogul also described the Hawkstone Farmers' Choir as the most impressive act of the night.
The outspoken judge explained: "Tonight, that was absolutely on the money. The best act we’ve seen so far tonight."
It was previously reported that the Hawkstone Farmers' Choir will play a major role in new episodes Clarkson's Farm, his Prime Video documentary series.
A source recently told The Sun newspaper: “Filming is well and truly under way and the finished show is likely to air next year.
“Fans will, however, be able to see [the next series] in a matter of weeks, though according to Jeremy it’s a rather darker season than we’ve been used to.
“But the appearance of the Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir in the following outing is going to make it more uplifting.
“They’re going to have to get used to being even more famous, though."|
