The Hawkstone Farmers' Choir have won Britain's Got Talent.

The group saw off competition during the live final on ITV to secure a place in the Royal Variety Show, as well as winning £250,000 in prize money.

The Hawkstone Farmers' Choir wowed the audience with an original song named This is Home.

After their performance, Amanda Holden said: "What an incredible song. An amazing performance."

KSI was also full of praise for the group.

The YouTuber-turned-rapper - who previously replaced Bruno Tonioli as a full-time judge on the TV show - said: "It’s such a risk, especially in the final to do an original song ... but put that on Spotify."

Alesha Dixon suggested that the group were strong contenders to win the series.

The 47-year-old music star - who shot to fame as a member of Mis-Teeq, the chart-topping girl group - said: "We can feel the warmth and how much it means to you. You sounded fantastic. You’re in with a real shot tonight."

Simon Cowell backed the group's decision to perform an original song for the final, too.

The 66-year-old music mogul also described the Hawkstone Farmers' Choir as the most impressive act of the night.

The outspoken judge explained: "Tonight, that was absolutely on the money. The best act we’ve seen so far tonight."

The singing collective - who Amanda put straight through to this year's semi-finals with her golden buzzer - were formed with the help of Jeremy Clarkson and are sponsored by his Hawkstone Brewery firm.

Clarkson was among the audience during the live final, and it was previously suggested that the Hawkstone Farmers' Choir will play a major role in new episodes Clarkson's Farm, his Prime Video documentary series.

A source recently told The Sun newspaper: “Filming is well and truly under way and the finished show is likely to air next year.

“Fans will, however, be able to see [the next series] in a matter of weeks, though according to Jeremy it’s a rather darker season than we’ve been used to.

“But the appearance of the Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir in the following outing is going to make it more uplifting.

“They’re going to have to get used to being even more famous, though."
