BBC Radio 1's Gemma Cairney pregnant with second child
BBC Radio 1 presenter and her partner, Cameron McAllister, are expecting their second child together, following the birth of their first in August 2024.
BBC Radio 1 star Gemma Cairney is pregnant with her second child.
The 41-year-old presenter announced that she and her partner Cameron McAllister are set to give their first baby - born in August 2024 - a sibling by posting a sweet shot of the blossoming bump to her Instagram page on Monday (13.04.26).
Gemma's photo showed her sunbathing with her blouse lifted to show off the bump, and captioned it: "Together we sunbathe 'n dream (sic)."
Some of her celebrity pals and many of Gemma's fans showered the star with congratulatory messages in the post's comments section.
Celebrity MasterChef 2025 finalist Dawn O'Porter, 47, penned: "I want to kiss that belly so bad."
TV presenter Fearne Cotton, 44, left a string of red heart emojis, and BBC Radio 6 Music broadcaster Lauren Laverne, 47, reacted with multiple smiling face with heart-eyes emojis.
Meanwhile, one fan typed: "This is just beautiful....so much power, connection and love here between you and wildling nurturing and growing together....such a precious time, love how you have captured it here, stunning!
"So much love and rest to you beautiful soul (sic)."
A second supporter commented: "So beautiful, the liminal space between the wombiverse and universe realities of the new tiny being, and of ourselves - sending you so much peace and ease (sic)."
And a third follower said: "Beautiful picture. Congratulations (sic)."
In August 2024, Gemma took to Instagram to announce that she and Cameron had welcomed their first child into the world.
She shared a sweet photo of herself and Cameron cradling the baby - whose identity has never been revealed - and revealed their bundle of joy was born a fortnight ago.
Gemma captioned the upload: "TWO WEEKS of the best madness, blessings, bliss, breaths, prayers, tears + momentous delirium.
"I can't offer enough thanks to our friends / kin, midwives, soothsayers, staunch support! Never ever felt love like this.
We are a fresh fam of 3, yipeeeeeeeee (sic)."
Before Gemma hit the airwaves on BBC Radio 1, 4radio and Kiss FM, she was a fashion stylist.
