Strictly Come Dancing's Nikita Kuzmin gives wedding update
Strictly Come Dancing pro Nikita Kuzmin and his girlfriend, Lauren Jaine, revealed they were in a relationship in October 2023.
Nikita Kuzmin hopes to marry his girlfriend in a "couple of years" time.
But the Strictly Come Dancing pro and 24-year-old model Lauren Jaine need to come to an agreement on the scale of their ceremony.
Nikita, 28, told the new issue of Heat magazine: "In a couple of years, I'd love to marry Lauren. It's just a gorgeous moment. I'm a very romantic person and feel really lucky to have found her.
"Lauren would love a huge wedding, but I'd want a private one. We'll definitely have to come to an agreement because I don't have the money for 1,000 people!"
The star thinks it would be "really cool" to have some of his fellow Strictly Come Dancing pros as his groomsmen, but when it comes to his best man, Nikita knows the perfect person.
He revealed: "I'd love my dad to be my best man. My parents sacrificed everything for me - he deserves that role."
In February, Nikita and Lauren became "proud" parents to an adorable long-haired Chihuahua called Mabel.
The couple also have cats, Leo and Bagheera, and five kittens, but now he wants to have children.
Nikita said: "Hopefully, one day, we'll be lucky enough to have more than one kid. I think that's the reason we're put on Earth - to grow them into whoever they want to be."
In October 2023, it was revealed that Nikita and Lauren were in a relationship.
And last December, he revealed they are hoping to tie the knot one day.
Nikita told OK! magazine: "I'm hopeful that one day she'll say yes! We recently watched a video of a wedding in South Africa and were quite moved by it. So, why not?"
The star - who, with Lauren, shares a "penchant for adventures" when it comes to date nights - also shared the secret to their happy relationship.
Nikita said: "It's less about what we do and more about simply being together and respecting each other's space."
