Stephen Libby has "no grand plans" for a showbiz career after winning The Traitors.

The 32-year-old star bluffed his way to victory alongside Rachel Duffy on the latest series of the BBC show but confessed that he isn't dazzled by fame – even though he quit his day job as a cyber security consultant following his triumph in the castle.

Stephen told Heat magazine: "I've quit my day job, mainly because I just want to have a bit of a break. I have no grand plans to be in showbiz, I've realised I've worked pretty hard all my life and I want to take this opportunity to take a few months off, see what happens."

The TV personality formed a close bond with fellow Traitor Rachel on the show and revealed that their friendship has continued in the outside world.

Libby said: "Rachel has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know. She is phenomenal.

"She was able to compartmentalise emotion from the game so easily, and I think that came across as if she wasn't as emotional in the castle as I was, but she really has such a big heart.

"I'm still very close with her. I've been over to Ireland to see her and her family, and I just love her so much."

Stephen also revealed how he got "mother vibes" from host Claudia Winkleman.

He said: "Claudia gives absolute mother vibes in there.

"She can be very, very proud of you in one moment and then very, very upset with you the next moment if you're not doing a good job. She's so invested in everyone doing well – and she just serves looks every single breakfast time.

"I was always so excited to see what she was going to be wearing in the morning."

Stephen and Rachel each scooped £47,875 for winning The Traitors and he explained that he is planning to spend his prize money on both his beloved jumpsuits and treating his boyfriend Daniel Quirke.

He said: "I think I'll spend a good chunk of the winnings on new jumpsuits and treat my family and my boyfriend, of course, because they've been majorly supportive.

"My boyfriend's really enjoying all the fanfare around it."
