Amy Hart 'grateful' for Love Island aftercare
Amy Hart insists that she "probably wouldn't be married now" had it not been for the aftercare she received after leaving Love Island in 2019 follow her heartbreaking split from Curtis Pritchard.
Amy Hart is "really grateful" for the aftercare that she got following her time on Love Island.
The 32-year-old star appeared on the ITV2 show in 2019 and is thankful for the support she got after leaving the programme heartbroken following her break-up with Curtis Pritchard as it allowed her to move on with her life.
Amy – who has two-year-old son Stanley with her husband Sam Rason – told Closer magazine: "If I hadn't had the aftercare, I probably wouldn't be married now.
"I feel like I've made use of the therapy and the counselling afterwards, which changed things from before Love Island. I'm really grateful I did it because it's changed me to be a better person and now I'm married with a baby."
Amy and Sam are expecting another child together and the star is hopeful of having more kids, although she acknowledges that she hasn't got "unlimited time" to do so.
She said: "This could be my last pregnancy. So I'm just trying to enjoy it all. I know I'm older, I haven't got unlimited time. You never know what's going to happen."
Hart's former boyfriend Curtis is taking part in the latest series of Love Island: All Stars and she thinks he is very "sensible" despite the pain of their split on the show.
She said: "I think people want me to slag him off, but I can give quite a good insight because I know him so well. He's a real grown-up, he's level-headed and just because of the life he's lived, he's very sensible."
Amy also explained that the pair remain on friendly terms.
The reality star said: "We don't hang out but we always have a lovely chat when we bump into each other – we always support each other."
Amy married Sam in Spain in 2024 and confessed that she almost fell down a flight of stairs as she walked down the aisle.
She told OK! magazine: "I didn’t get emotional walking down the aisle because although I knew I’d have to walk down the amphitheatre steps, I realised that in that dress and in heels, it wouldn’t be easy.
"They’re not even, and I started laughing at one point because there was one really massive one and my dad said to me, ‘Oh, we both nearly went there’, so I was really concentrating on where I was walking!"
