Gemma Collins has not spoken to her former The Only Way Is Essex co-star Bobby Norris in years following their explosive TV rows.

The 44-year-old reality star admitted her calls to Bobby, 39, have gone unanswered for years, despite the pair being close on the ITVBe programme.

During an appearance on the Wright At Home podcast, Gemma said: “I’d love to see Bobby again, I don’t know where he is. I did call him with Chloe Sims, cos when she comes over from LA, she doesn’t live far from us actually …

“I said, ‘Come on lets ring Bob.’ Rung. Did he answer? No.”

Podcast host Jess Wright then asked: “Has he still got the same number?”

Gemma replied: “Probably, yeah.”

Gemma - who appeared on TOWIE from 2011 to 2019 - and Bobby were often caught up in explosive spats during the show, but the reality star admitted she used to intentionally aggravate him in a ploy to gain more air time.

Gemma explained: “I used to think, no I’ve gotta do something on this show to get a scene.”

Jess praised Gemma’s ability to find her way to stand out on the box, and the I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Me! star recalled some of her most memorable arguments with Bobby.

She said: “When you’re with Bobby and Charlie and ‘ask me again have I done a course? Ask me again, have I done a course, Bobby?’

“And then he chucks the drink and walks out and Charlie goes ‘well I ain’t going into business with that.”

Jess added: “You were so good at that, the minute you wanted airtime, it was really clever.”

Last month, Gemma revealed her mother Joan had made a recovery after spending five weeks in hospital battling pneumonia.

On Instagram, the Celebrity Big Brother star wrote: “This day I will never forget. Thank you to EVERYONE AT BROOMFIELD Hospital the LAST 5 weeks from reception to tea lady to Physios doctors nurses its an Absolute MIRACLE.

“Thank you to everyone who has come up to me contacted me prayed for my mum! I've been blown away by the amount of people who hugged me in the shops and everyone who would ask me how mum is I APPRECIATE you more than you will ever know.

“My Closest friends, people who cooked me dinner, the lovely Lambas it meant so much. GOD is GOOD.”
