Kate Garraway piled on "half a stone" doing The Celebrity Traitors.

The broadcaster said the pressure of figuring out who the Traitors were - comic Alan Carr, 49, TV personality Jonathan Ross, 65, and 29-year-old singer Cat Burns - as well as perform well in challenges to add cash to the prize pot, made her stress eat.

Kate - who took part in the BBC's ultimate game of backstabbing, betrayal and deceit in October 2025 - told the new issue of Woman magazine: "Things that you might not know about The Celebrity Traitors are that they feed you so much.

"I'm not joking. Every time they had to pause to reset something or do something spooky, they brought out more food.

"Honestly, I put on about half a stone. It was because I was so anxious! I was just stress eating anything that came my way."

Elsewhere in her interview with the publication, Kate, 58, admitted she prioritises feeling good over weight loss.

The Good Morning Britain anchor - whose energy has stabilised after cutting down on caffeine and consuming less sugar - explained: "I used to think of health and fitness in terms of looking slim and looking good - and I know that's not a very cool thing to say.

"Now, I want to get really fit and toned, but it's much less to do with the way I look."

Despite not caring how she looks, Kate wants to get a facelift.

Admitting she is working on having a better beauty routine, the star revealed: "I'm finally following a proper skincare routine, though, and someone's taught me some face yoga exercises.

"I'd love to have a facelift!"

For self-care, the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! 2019 campmate does Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis (NEAT).

It is the energy the body burns doing everything that is not sleeping, eating, or formal exercise, and makes up 50 per cent of daily calorie burn, compared to the 10 per cent individuals get from planned workouts.

Kate said: "I make sure I walk everywhere really fast, so I'm sweaty and feel out of breath. I feel so much better if I do a lot of exercise, but I find it really hard to do."

Kate added: "It might be only 10 minutes of something physical, such as stretching, pottering in the garden with a mug of tea, or reading something not related to work."
