Charlotte Crosby battling 'hardcore' chest infection
Charlotte Crosby has updated fans on the status of her health after she shared a photo of herself in a hospital bed wearing an oxygen mask on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday (06.01.26).
Charlotte Crosby was hospitaslised with a "hardcore" chest infection.
The TV star was "throwing up" and felt "so weak" on the last day of her family's trip to the Maldives, and battled sleepless nights and "coughing fits" as she, her fiance Jake Ankers, and their daughters, Alba, three, and Pixi, 11 months, flew back to Dubai.
Fans were worried on Tuesday (06.01.26) after she shared a shot of herself lying in a hospital bed wearing an oxygen mask on Instagram Stories, but Charlotte has now told them she is better after doctors in the Middle Eastern city gave her medication.
Writing over a photo of multiple boxes of pills and a thumbs up - posted on her Instagram Stories later that day - the Geordie Shore alum said: "Right guys sorry to worry you all!
"So I hadn't been feeling too well the past couple of days! I always get a pretty hardcore chest infection in winter but I thought with us getting away I may of gotten away with it!
"But no it's hit me like a ton of bricks I've not slept really in 48 hours because of that killer travel day and then all last night coughing fits!
"So I got straight to the private clinic here and they sorted me right out! I've got antibiotics, some new strong cough syrup and some steroid tablets!
"Hoping for sleep tonight. (sic)"
Charlotte, 35, and her family - whose travel journey from the Male, Maldives, to Dubai consisted of "one speed boat, two planes, and three buses" - were greeted in the Middle Eastern city by her 56-year-old mum, internet personality Letitia Crosby.
Charlotte continued in the caption of her health update: "In other news my mams here and we are all soooo happy!
"She is also being a great nurse to me! (sic)"
In a previous post to her Instagram Stories, Charlotte revealed she was sick.
According to MailOnline, the Celebrity Big Brother 2013 winner wrote: "Our last day in the Maldives and I've b***** been throwing up and felt so weak. Pushed through and went on a dolphin trip this morning but we didn't see any.
"Gutted because I was so excited for Alba! There's always next time! (sic)"
