Charlotte Crosby hospitalised after falling ill in Maldives
Charlotte Crosby shared a photo of herself in a hospital bed wearing an oxygen mask on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday (06.01.26) - which came after the star revealed on the social media platform that she was sick and felt "so weak" during a family trip to the Maldives.
Charlotte Crosby has been hospitalised after falling ill in the Maldives.
The 35-year-old reality TV star jetted out to the South Asian country with her fiance Jake Ankers and their daughters, Alba, three, and Pixi, 11 months, but on the last day of their holiday, Charlotte was "throwing up" and felt "so weak".
But on Tuesday (06.01.26), the Geordie Shore alum shared a photo of herself in a hospital bed wearing an oxygen mask. She penned over the shot: "Well this wasn't on the bingo card."
Charlotte did not reveal any details about her illness.
In a previous post to her Instagram Stories, the Celebrity Big Brother 2013 winner revealed she was sick.
According to MailOnline, Charlotte wrote: "Our last day in the Maldives and I've b***** been throwing up and felt so weak. Pushed through and went on a dolphin trip this morning but we didn't see any.
"Gutted because I was so excited for Alba! There's always next time! (sic)"
Before they touched down in the Maldives, Charlotte hit back at trolls who took a joking, edited Instagram photo of Pixi appearing to hang from a plane’s fire exit sign seriously.
The family of four travelled from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to the Maldives as they were bored due to their flight being delayed, the couple kept Pixi entertained by playing with her inside the aircraft.
Jake lifted the tot next to the fire exit sign - which she grabbed onto - and as it appeared Pixi was hanging from the sign, Charlotte edited her partner out of the image she took to make it look like Pixi got up there herself.
Writing over the photo - which was shared to her Instagram Stories on December 29 - Charlotte quipped: "We couldn't find Pixi anywhere on the flight. We could just hear her laughing ... then we looked up and she was HANGING from the exit sign. What's she like these second children are wild!!
"Gunna have to watch her closely in Maldives or she might be off on the jet skis before Yano it. (sic)"
As she, Jake, Alba and Pixi were on their way to the Maldives, Charlotte received an onslaught from the "mam police" who were "losing their s***" in her Instagram inbox after wrongly thinking Pixi was dangling from the fire exit sign herself.
And when they arrived at their holiday home, Charlotte was forced to remind her fans that the image on her Instagram Stories was edited and a joke.
Writing over a photo of Charlotte looking exhausted, as well as the original snap of Jake lifting Pixi next to the fire exit sign, she typed: "Right we have landed in the Maldives wait until I tell you all the adventure it took to get here ... BUT FIRST why have I been getting sooooo many messages of people kicking off at Pixi doing pull ups on the fire exit sign!
"Let the girl live for gods sake!!!!!!! LMAO come on yous! You didn't actually think that was real did you? I just photoshopped Jake out we were delayed for ages on the run way and bored! And couldn't stop laughing at how Pixi looked like she was dangling herself!
"When I tell you the mam police have been losing their s*** in my inbox! (sic)"
In another Instagram Story, Charlotte shared a screenshotted Direct Message (DM) from a woman who took Charlotte's joke seriously.
The individual's comment - which made Charlotte laugh - read: "Not guna lie that's just scruffy. 'Can't find my child' are you joking, on a flight. Your confined to your seats for god sake.
"Your surely not that busy that your child/baby just mooches off round the plane get a grip!! For god sake!! (sic)"
