Tasha Ghouri is looking ahead after 'tough' 2025
Love Island star Tasha Ghouri says 2025 was "tough mentally" for her as she was subjected to cruel online trolling following her split from Andrew Le Page.
Tasha Ghouri admits that 2025 was "tough mentally" for her.
The Love Island star shared a montage of highlights from the past year on her Instagram Story and explained that she is entering 2026 "surrounded by love" with her CBBC presenter boyfriend Cam Whitnall after being subjected to "horrific trolling" online in recent months.
Tasha - who split from fellow Love Islander Andrew Le Page last year - wrote on the social media platform: "2025 was tough mentally. I had to dig out of deep places from very horrific trolling but in the end of it all I found true happiness.
"I don't want to talk much on it because I know people want to be sad and never want to be happy.
"Never again am I letting them tear me apart to the point I completely lost myself and my love for what I do."
The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant continued: "2026 I'm entering with a whole heart, even more strength and new purposes!
"I'm leaving all that negativity behind and going forward with a smile on my face looking forward.
"Thank you to those that have been kind and have supported my journey! This year is going to be big!!!"
Tasha, 27, split from Andrew early last year after meeting on the 2022 series of Love Island and she explained in an Instagram Q+A last week that she was subjected to nasty trolling claiming that she was to blame for the break-up.
The star - who was born deaf - wrote: "I was so so anxious to share this, I've experienced a lot of horrific trolls in the past year in my messages online and it massively impacted my mental health to the point I didn't want to leave my bedroom.
"I'm getting emotional typing this but this feels like a fresh new beginning and it's the perfect haven to restart."
Meanwhile, Tasha teased last year that she was venturing into the world of business and is hoping to create something that her future children can run one day.
She told Heat magazine: "I'm working on something that's hopefully launching next year. I don't want to say too much just yet, but let's just say I'm getting into my business era!
"I've always wanted to build something that I'm passionate about that's in the industry I love. I want to create something of my own, something I can grow so that in the future my kids could take over one day."
