Love Island star Georgia Harrison rushed to hospital weeks after welcoming her first baby
Just weeks after welcoming her first child, Georgia Harrison has been taken to hospital after suffering with a "nasty infection".
Georgia Harrison has been rushed to hospital just weeks after giving birth to her first child.
The Love Island star, 31, revealed she had been taken to the same hospital in which she welcomed her daughter Sahara Jean Stacey after she started to suffer with post-natal complications.
Taking to Instagram, Georgia posted a photo of herself on a stretcher and added the caption: “It’s been a whirl wind of a week, I ended up back where Sahara was born with a nasty infection but I’m on the road to recovery now and we’re all ready for our first Christmas as a family (sic).”
Georgia welcomed Sahara with her partner Jack Stacey, 33, in October 2025, a few days before her due date of November 5.
In a Halloween-themed post, Georgia shared a compilation of photos of her rubbing her bump at different moments of her pregnancy, and the short video ended with her stroking the baby instead.
The footage was captioned: “Happy Halloween everyone [pumpkin emoji] Trick or Treat that’s the question? (sic)”
Georgia recently said her appearance on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins in 2024 helped her to embrace motherhood, as it prepared her for the mental and physical challenges that come with having a baby.
Speaking with the Daily Mail’s Eden Confidential column, she said: “SAS helped me learn to get up in the night, stuff like that, and just face it.
“I always think, no matter how hard this is, it’s never worse than some of the experiences I’ve had in the past, so I just get on with it.”
Georgia had also said she would not miss partying now that has become a mother.
The Only Way Is Essex alum told Closer magazine: “There's nothing in my old life that I'm really worried about letting go of. I've partied so much, it's actually concerning – I'm surprised my liver is even still inside my body!
“I feel like I've well and truly done it all. I was getting to the stage, as I approached 30, where I didn't enjoy going out like I used to. If I go out drinking now, I'd rather go home early. I'm ready to move into motherhood and just have a completely different purpose.”
