Conor Maynard mocks Charlotte Chilton's 'invisible tears' as paternity feud continues
Conor Maynard has responded to Charlotte Chilton's latest interview, in which she tears up and rejects the DNA results confirming Conor is not the dad of her daughter Penelope.
Conor Maynard took a brutal jibe at Charlotte Chilton's "invisible tears" as she insists he is the dad of her daughter - despite two DNA tests saying he is not.
The Traitors star Charlotte claimed her brief relationship with the Can't Say No singer, 32, had resulted in her falling pregnant, and she told his representatives that she had welcomed "his" daughter Penelope on October 13, 2024.
A DNA test was conducted in March 2025, another was done five months later, and both results confirmed Conor is not Penelope's dad.
In a recent interview with The Sun, Charlotte got teary as she declared the results are wrong and was adamant that the performer is the dad.
Conor fired back at Charlotte's recent emotional sit-down chat in a video that was posted to his Instagram account on Wednesday (29.10.25).
He played a clip of her tearing up in the interview, before he burst onto the screen with a box of tissues in his hand.
Conor said: "Here's an invisible tissue for your invisible tears," before he played his song, which features the lyrics: "Why you keep talking on baby, won't you stop / Ain't nobody listening cause you talk too much, please shut up with a cherry on top."
The award-winning hitmaker captioned the clip with: "My response to the most recent news.."
And the upload sparked hundreds of comments in the post's comments section - including a remark from his 30-year-old brother, YouTuber Jack Maynard.
He left a GIF, which read: "ABSOLUTE CINEMA."
A fan of Conor's claimed: "I defended you on her Instagram. She blocked me. Haha I don't care. What I care about is that your name was dragged in the mud and all she wanted was attention (sic)."
However, one person blasted Conor's decision to make the video, writing: "Bad taste, yes you angry but be the better person and keep quiet there's a little girl who will see this in years to come.... Respect to her.. This is not doing you any favours at all."
And another person jumped to Penelope's defence, penning: "That child didn't ask to get caught up. Just saying ...
"It is not about her or him ...it is about the child that will see this. (sic)"
In her interview with The Sun, Charlotte said: "I have researched and researched trying to find the answers because I know for a fact that the only person who can be my daughter's father is Conor Maynard.
"After speaking to experts, I have found out that what might have happened is I could have been carrying twins, but lost one very early.
"Then strange genetics come into play, which means that the twin could have taken certain DNA so her father could never show up on a paternity test.
"It is something called chimerism."
