Kareena Kapoor feels "angry" that most of her work has been overshadowed by just two of her performances.

The 42-year-old actress has an extensive filmography behind her but she is best known for playing Geet in 'Jab We Met' and Poo in 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' and she admitted she deliberately tries to take on as many different roles as possible in a bid to be remembered for something else.

Speaking at the trailer launch event for 'Jaane Jaan', Masala magazine reported she said: “As an actor, you want to try and do something different every time. For me, it is difficult because I’ve been known for playing Poo and Geet… This thing has been fixed in people’s minds. So, that has been a conscious effort that now I want to do different things. They don’t think of the films that I’ve done in the past such as Dev, Chameli, and others. But I’m going to keep trying to do different things.

“I know that they will keep coming back to Poo and Geet. I’ve done quite a few intense roles but you all remember only Poo and Geet. I feel very angry about it. Like, Omkara was also intense.”

Meanwhile, Kareena admitted she had been "warned" by husband Saif Ali Khan to up her game when shooting 'Jaane Jaan' with Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat.

She said, “Saif had already told me ‘Listen, it’s not like [put on your make-up and speak]. Stop this attitude. You are working with Jaideep and Vijay, be prepared. They would be improvising and all so you better be on your toes. It’s not like a picnic’. He warned me. So I was a little more [cautious] like a student who’s more alert. Saif was like ‘stop being a backbencher.' ”
