Scarlett Johansson is astonished to be leading cast of new Jurassic World film
Scarlett Johansson is amazed that she has landed the lead role in the new 'Jurassic World' picture as she was a massive fan of the original 'Jurassic Park' as a child.
Scarlett Johansson cannot believe that she is going to lead the cast of the next 'Jurassic World' movie.
The 39-year-old star has confirmed that she will be starring in the upcoming film in the dinosaur franchise and revealed how 'Jurassic Park' was one of her favourite childhood pictures.
Scarlett told ComicBook.com: "I am an enormous 'Jurassic Park' fan.
"It is one of the first movies I remember seeing in theatres. I remember it so vividly. It was life-changing and mind-blowing. I cannot express how excited I am."
The new 'Jurassic World' movie is being directed by Gareth Edwards with David Koepp returning to the series to pen the script and Scarlett quipped that she would have happily been in the film for only five minutes.
The 'Black Widow' actress said: "David Koepp wrote it and returned after 30 years to write it and he's so passionate about it.
"I've been trying to get into this franchise in any possible way for over 10 years. I'm like, 'I'll die in the first five minutes! I can get eaten by whatever! I'll do the craft service!' I'll do anything for it.
"The fact that it's happened in this way at this time just is actually unbelievable."
Bryce Dallas Howard will not be returning as Claire Dearing in the flick after starring in the previous 'Jurassic World' trilogy but has no doubt that the forthcoming movie will be a success.
She told Collider: "David Koepp wrote it, he wrote 'Jurassic Park'. Scarlett Johansson is in it. Gareth Edwards is directing it. He directed 'Rogue One', 'Godzilla'.
"This is gonna be a great movie. And so I would have no advice for anyone who's part of that team because they're gonna nail it."
