Jelly Roll's wife admits sex after weight loss 'can be tricky'
Jelly Roll's wife Bunnie Xo has confessed having sex after losing a lot of weight "can be tricky" and couples go through an "adjustment period".
Jelly Roll's wife Bunnie Xo has admitted sex "can be tricky" after losing a large amount of weight.
The rapper/singer's wife Bunnie Xo has opened up about their bedroom antics in a question-and-answer session with fans for Playboy magazine and she offered advice to one reader who complained he was having"way more sex" with his wife before they both slimmed down.
Bunnie Xo seemingly drew on her own experience after her husband dropped 300 pounds to tell him: "When it comes to sex, slowing down after weight loss and Ozempic can be tricky. Big body changes mess with your head and hormones.
"Add a medication that blunts appetite and it’s not shocking libido dips too. It’s likely an adjustment period, not a permanent shift."
Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo seem to have come through the slump as she previously revealed they are now having much better sex.
Bunnie - who has been married to Jelly since 2016 - told Us Weekly: "We always had a sex life, but there were mountains and valleys that we had to go through - especially when he was so big."
The Dumb Blonde podcast host - real name Alisa DeFord - shared her love for her spouse's "excitement and his new zest for life" since he dropped to 265 pounds.
Bunnie added: "It’s so childlike and just giddy - just seeing him get to be the man that I always saw that he was.
"Even when he was 500 pounds, this dude was an agile, big guy. I’m like, 'You are athletic under that meat suit.'
"Now that he has the weight off of him, he just gets to be who I always knew that he was, and I think it’s brought a new sense of happiness to him.
"Any time he’s happy, I’m happy."
Jelly - real name Jason DeFord - previously admitted that getting intimate with Bunnie as a 540-pound man was "horrible" and compared it to "having to play Twister".
Appearing on a December 2025 episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, the three-time Grammy award winner - who started his weight-loss journey in 2022 - said: "[Before I lost eight, my] sex life with my wife [Bunnie Xo] was horrible.
"Dude, I married a f****** big t**** blonde beautiful woman, dog. You know what I mean? I married the kind of woman that makes you smile when you're crying, Joe.
"I couldn't even get aroused, I was so big. I was having to play Twister to have sex. Left foot here, right foot in the X, you know? Are we in there yet? Tell me if you feel something. I mean, it was bad."
