Bunnie XO reveals argument with Jelly Roll that led to divorce

Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll's marriage ended after they had an argument on Mother's Day.

It was revealed earlier this week that the couple had separated last month after a decade of marriage and now the Dumb Blonde host has told how they had "never been really good" at disagreements, so opted to hold things in instead of arguing, which became a "recipe for disaster".

However, on 10 May, Jelly and Bunnie had a row, which left her feeling "fed up and so tired".

Speaking on the latest episode of Dumb Blonde, she said: "I just looked at him and I said, ‘Well, file the f****** divorce papers.'

"And in our relationship, that is the one cardinal thing that you don't say, even though my husband has said it numerous times…. But when I say it, it really holds weight, because I'm not the type of person who says what I don't mean."

After the argument, the 46-year-old beauty "packed a bag and left" and the paid didn't speak for several weeks, leading to the Son of a Sinner hitmaker - whose real name is Jason DeFord - filing for divorce because he was "so mad".

She said: "During that, he was so mad and we were so emotional that he ended up doing exactly what I told him to do and filing the divorce papers.

"Was this divorce mutual? No. It was not mutual, even though I told him to file the divorce papers. I was speaking out of anger and just frustration. But was it necessary for us to have a wake-up call and for us to start having these real conversations? Absolutely."

The former couple are still on good terms and not only is Jelly "dating" again, Bunnie - whose real name is Alisa DeFord - encouraged other women to reach out to him via DM.

She said: "Daddy Roll is probably in his finest season, right? He's feeling himself. He looks so good. He is healthier than he's ever been.

"J is a little lover, and he, you know, he likes to snuggle and he likes to cuddle.

"I'm fine over here. The crazy thing is, I'm not even ready to hook up with a dude. I'm ready to focus on myself and pour into myself.

"Don't be scared [to DM him]. Shoot your motherf****** shot.

"I will be the ex-wife, okay? And we'll have a great time."

And Bunnie and 41-year-old Jelly - who is dad to Bailee, 18, and Noah, nine, from previous relationships - are even still planning to have a child together.

She said: "We're literally settling our divorce in like... We've done it in like, what? Three weeks? Two weeks?

"We're still having a baby together.

"So, we have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered. We're going to co-parent together. J is my best friend. Like, this isn't what you guys think this is. Nobody cheated on the other person. It's literally just we served our purpose for each other."
